1. About Us
Eagle Minicabs (Leyton) and the eagleminicabs.co.uk domain are trading names of Eagle Mini-Car Services.
Eagle Minicabs (Leyton) is operated as an independent Sole Trader business under TfL Private Hire Operator Licence [009519]. We have no affiliation, legal partnership, or corporate connection with any Limited Companies registered under a similar name outside of the E10 area.

Eagle Mini-Car Services is a private hire vehicle operator licensed by Transport for London (TfL) under the Private Hire Vehicles (London) Act 1998, licence number 009519. These terms and conditions apply to all bookings accepted by us, whether made in person at our Office or by telephone.

2. How to Book
2.1 Bookings may be made by visiting our Office at 184 High Rd Leyton, London, E10 5PS or by telephoning us on 0208 556 3333 / 1234

2.2 When you make a booking, you will be asked to provide the pick-up location, destination, and time of travel, along with your name and a contact telephone number.

3. Acceptance of Booking and Contract
3.1 A contract for the journey comes into existence between you (the passenger) and Eagle Mini-Car Services at the point we confirm that your booking has been accepted, in accordance with the Divisional Court's judgment of 6 December 2021 confirming operators' obligations under the Private Hire Vehicles (London) Act 1998.

3.2 Once a booking is accepted, Eagle Mini-Car Services allocates the journey to one of our licensed drivers, who will carry out the journey on our behalf.

3.3 Eagle Mini-Car Services remains responsible to you for the provision of the journey that is the subject of the booking, regardless of which driver is allocated to carry it out.

4. The Journey
4.1 Journeys are carried out by licensed private hire drivers in licensed private hire vehicles, in accordance with TfL licensing requirements.

4.2 We will make reasonable efforts to ensure the driver arrives promptly, but travel times may be affected by traffic and other conditions outside our control.

5. Fares and Payment
5.1 The fare for each journey will be advised at the time of booking or agreed with the driver before or at the start of the journey.

5.2 Payment is made directly to the driver for the journey, by cash or by any other payment method the driver accepts.

6. Cancellations
6.1 You may cancel a booking at any time. However if a Driver has been dispatched, the Driver reserves the right to charge a reasonable cancellation Fee.

6.2 Under reasonable circumstances, beyond our control, Eagle Mini-Car Services may cancel or amend a booking where a vehicle or driver is not available, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you as soon as possible.

7. Drivers
7.1 All drivers allocated to journeys are licensed by TfL and hold a valid private hire driver's licence.

7.2 Drivers are expected to conduct themselves professionally, drive safely, and treat passengers with courtesy and respect at all times.

7.3 Drivers must never and strictly cannot accept a booking directly from a passenger.

8. Passenger Conduct
8.1 Passengers are expected to treat drivers and vehicles with respect. Eagle Mini-Car Services reserves the right to refuse future bookings from passengers who behave abusively, dangerously, or damage a vehicle.

9. Complaints
9.1 Any complaint regarding a journey, driver, or booking should be made to our office by telephone or in person as soon as reasonably possible.

9.2 Eagle Mini-Car Services will investigate all complaints and respond within a reasonable time. Complaints may also be made to Transport for London.

10. Liability
10.1 Eagle Mini-Car Services holds public liability and hire and reward insurance in accordance with TfL licensing requirements.

10.2 Eagle Mini-Car Services shall not be liable for any loss or delay caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including traffic, weather, or road closures.

11. Data Protection
11.1 Any personal information you provide when booking is used solely for the purpose of arranging and carrying out your journey, and is handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR.
